Andrea Bijou is an entrepreneur living and working in Seattle, WA. She and her husband own and operate maoStudios, a graphic and web interactive agency in Maple Leaf. Bijou also owns Bijoudally, a fashion jewelry brand that can be found in over 50 stores on the west coast.
Bijou began her career as a journalist for a NBC affiliate in Eastern Washington. After a few years working freelance for several Northwest publications, Bijou made the transition to the copy writing world. Bijou has written messaging for companies like the Washington State Ferries, Advanced H2O, Northwest Face, accruWealth, Pemco, and many others.
On her free time, she writes for this Guide to Gluten Free Blog, gardens, plays music, creates art, cooks, and is actively involved in the Seattle gluten-free community.

I also live near Roosevelt/Maple Leaf, and LOVE this blog! I’ve been (mostly) sugar free, gluten and grain free. It’s nice to see someone else discovering all the awesome nooks and crannies this area has to offer!
Check out Kaffeklatsch (spelling?) on Lake City Way.. their bakers make a German cookie out of almond meal that is a cinnamon-y delight!
