Andrea Bijou is an entrepreneur living and working in Seattle, WA as a freelance digital marketing specialist. Bijou also designs and sells a collection of gems called Yoj Healing Crystals, a line of healing crystals that are both stylish and for healing the mind, body, and spirit.
Bijou began her career as a journalist for a NBC affiliate in Eastern Washington. After a few years working freelance for several Northwest publications, Bijou made the transition to the copywriting world. Bijou has been a brand manager and written messaging for companies like Holland America, Washington State Ferries, Advanced H2O, Crayola, PEMCO Insurance and many others.
On her free time she writes for the Guide to Gluten Free Blog, studies psychology and philosophy, plays the piano, creates art, cooks, and is actively involved in the Seattle gluten-free community.

I also live near Roosevelt/Maple Leaf, and LOVE this blog! I’ve been (mostly) sugar free, gluten and grain free. It’s nice to see someone else discovering all the awesome nooks and crannies this area has to offer!
Check out Kaffeklatsch (spelling?) on Lake City Way.. their bakers make a German cookie out of almond meal that is a cinnamon-y delight!
